Beesley is a Bantam

Congratulations to General Sports Worldwide client Jake Beesley on completing a move to Bradford City.

Jake links-up with the League One club on a free transfer after a hugely successful 25/26 season with Burton Albion where he scored 13 times and created seven goals in 45 league appearances.

The 29-year-old, who has signed an initial two-year contract with the Bantams with the option of a further year, is delighted to find himself linking-up with manager Graham Alexander for the second time in his career.

He told Bradford’s official website:

“I have worked with the gaffer before; it is kind of a full circle moment for me. Coming back to work with him again and being back in the city feels right and I am really excited.

“I want to score as many goals as possible, hopefully I can do that straight away.

“I am absolutely delighted, it has been in the pipeline for a few windows now. The timing was not right, but now it is.”
