Andy Appleby: ‘New global headquarters reflect GSW’s heritage and ambition’
General Sports Worldwide is extremely proud to unveil its new global headquarters in historic downtown Utica, Michigan.
GSW is an international sports management, marketing and advisory company that provides strategic planning, support and commercial services to athletes, rights holders, sports organisations, investors, brands, and executives.
The newly constructed building is also home to the United States Professional Baseball League, powered by Mortgage Matchup, which was founded by GSW in 2016 and is situated adjacent to its exclusive ballpark, UWM Field.
The company has grown into a global business since its formation in 1998 by Andy Appleby. It now represents talent in elite sports, including football, boxing and track and field; Rights Holders, Brands & Communications Consulting; Executive Search and Mergers and Acquisitions.

We have offices across the world and work throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East, but our roots are very much in Michigan.
“As we continue to grow internationally, we’re proud to establish our new global headquarters here, reflecting both our heritage and our ambition.
“This new home provides a space that represents who we are today and reflects the breadth of our expertise and expanding international footprint, while supporting the next exciting chapter of GSW’s journey.
The HQ features a Meeting and Events Space, a USPBL Pro Shop, a lobby space known as The Collection and a gourmet Hot Dog restaurant, JJ’s Dog House, named after GSW’s ballpark Bat Dog.
The unveiling of the headquarters coincides with the launch of GSW’s new website, generalsportsworldwide.com.
