Teenage GSW star Brooke-Smith completes Pompey switch

GSW was delighted to help teenage New Zealand star Luke Brooke-Smith seal a summer transfer window switch to Championship side Portsmouth.

The 18-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a four-year contract after the Fratton Park club paid Wellington Phoenix an undisclosed fee for his services.

Having already represented his country at senior international level at such a young age, Luke will now have the opportunity to continue his development in the second tier of English football.

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho told his club’s official website: “We’re delighted to strengthen our squad further with the addition of Luke.

“He’s a quick, direct and aggressive winger, who is comfortable on both sides of the pitch and has a lot of experience of senior football for his age.

“I’m looking forward to see him continue his impressive development here at Fratton Park over the next few years.”

All at GSW are delighted for Luke and look forward to continuing to support him as his career progresses.
